We’re all so divorced from ourselves it‘s no wonder we’re constantly divorcing ourselves from everyone and everything that is important in our lives.
It is so important to find true acceptance of ourselves just the way we are – “Warts and all” so we can accept others in the same way.
“There is no point in trying to be positive about negative things.”
Meditation helps us to accept that we have both negative and positive states of mind.
Buddhas’ teachings show us how to develop the wise and compassionate skills to transform our different states of mind through meditation.
Hearing Buddhas’ philosophy combined with our meditation we learn how to be content with all things . . . just as they are.
We learn how to develop the skills to work with what “is” from moment to moment in our everyday life.
Acceptance of all things as they are helps us to develop loving kindness and compassion for ourselves promoting acceptance and mutual understanding of others.
Then we naturally find peace in ourselves, others, and our world.

WHAT TO BRING:
A notebook and pen as well as a water bottle.
Each Saturday please bring a plate to share for lunch at “The Sanctuary Tea Gardens”.
IMPORTANT: Wear baggy cool clothes. Tight clothes (even stretchy shorts and jeans) cut off circulation and create obstacles to your meditation.
